Sacred Chanting

please join us at UNISON ARTS. Mountain Rest Rd, New Paltz,NY for chanting on the 2nd and 4th sundays of the month. Many cultures and spiritual traditions have used chanting as a means of entering the heart, releasing anxieties of the mind and achieving union with the spirit. Join us as we sing chants from Hindu, Tibetan, African, Native American, mid-eastern and western traditions. We will let our heart's revel in meditative and ecstatic chanting as well as rest in the deeply restorative silence produced by our harmonic choirs with the crystal singing bowls. Untrained and heartfelt voices are both welcome and necessary. Bring a pillow if you wish to sit on the floor. Chairs will be provided.
